Congress for the New Urbanism
A membership-based education and advocacy organization. The CNU holds an annual congress of new urban practitioners.

American Planning Association New Urbanism Division
Provides information, support, and tools needed to eliminate restrictive conventional development regulations and allow new urbanism patterns to be incorporated in all communities.

Form Based Codes Institute
An organization with the goals of setting standards for the practice of Form-Based Coding, education and outreach and forums for discussion.

An organization young professionals, students and others dedicated to advance the new urbanism and prepare its members for the future.

Placemakers
Design and consulting firm that provides free access to the SmartCode, a model new urbanist code. A unified transect-based code available for all scales of planning. Provides up-to-date files of the latest versions of the model SmartCode and other resources.

Walkable Communities, Inc.
Pedestrian advocacy organization that conducts charrettes, lectures and research and also publishes guidebooks.
